Established in 2015, the National Punjab Multi Educational Institute (NPMEI) has spent the last 10 years pioneering the “Multi-Education” model. We believe that professional growth should not be limited by geography or time. By integrating long-distance learning with industry-specific rigor, NPME has successfully empowered thousands of students to achieve their academic and career goals.
At the helm of NPME is Dr. Lakbir Singh, a distinguished medical professional with MBBS and MD qualifications. His dual expertise in clinical practice and educational administration ensures that every program—especially our paramedical and PG courses—is grounded in scientific accuracy and ethical standards. Under his directorship, the institute has maintained a standard of excellence that rivals traditional on-campus education, focusing on “real-world readiness.”

Diploma Programs
NPME offers industry-aligned General Diplomas for corporate careers and Paramedical Diplomas for essential healthcare roles. Directed by Dr. Lakbir Singh (MBBS, MD), these fast-track programs combine flexible long-distance theory with rigorous practical training. In just 1–2 years, students gain the specialized skills and recognized certification needed for immediate professional employment
Graduation Programs
NPMEI provides comprehensive General Graduation for leadership roles and Paramedical Degrees for advanced clinical expertise. Under Dr. Lakbir Singh’s medical directorship, these programs integrate long-distance academic depth with essential hands-on training. This 3-year pathway ensures graduates are fully prepared for high-level careers in both the corporate sector and the global healthcare industry.

Government of India’s Skill India Mission with "NPMEI"
At NPMEI (National Punjab Multi Educational Institute), we align our educational framework with the Government of India’s Skill India Mission. Recognising the national need for a future-ready workforce, NPME acts as a bridge between official government skilling objectives and high-demand industry requirements.
1. Integration with Skill India Mission (SIM)
NPME incorporates the core principles of the National Skill Development Mission (NSDM) into its curriculum. By established 2015—the same year the national mission was launched—we have grown alongside the government’s vision to scale up skilling with “speed and standards.”
NSQF Alignment: Our diploma and degree programs are mapped against the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF), ensuring that the credits and certifications earned by students are recognised across the country for both private and government jobs.
2. Focus on PMKVY 4.0 & Future Skills
In line with the latest Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 4.0) guidelines (2023–2026), NPME has shifted focus toward New-Age Skills and Industry 4.0.
Healthcare & Paramedical: Under the guidance of Dr. Lakbir Singh (MBBS, MD), our paramedical wing focuses on high-demand clinical job roles identified by the Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC).
Digital Literacy: Every general education student at NPME undergoes mandatory training in digital tools, ensuring they are ready for the tech-driven corporate landscape.
3. Support for “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (Self-Reliant India)
Our skill development mission is rooted in creating job creators, not just job seekers.
Entrepreneurship Modules: We provide integrated training in financial literacy and business ethics to help our diploma holders start their own diagnostic centers, clinics, or consultancy firms.
RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning): NPME provides a pathway for experienced but uncertified workers in the healthcare and management sectors to get formally assessed and certified, enhancing their livelihood and social security.
4. Decentralized & Accessible Training
As a long-distance education provider, NPME fulfills the government’s goal of decentralizing skilling.
Localized Practical Training: We partner with local industry hubs and hospitals to provide on-the-job training (OJT) and internships, fulfilling the “Skill Hub” initiative of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
Inclusive Education: By offering cost-effective distance learning, we ensure that youth from rural and marginalized backgrounds have equal access to the same high-quality skill development as those in metropolitan areas.
