The Admission Process
The admission process at NPMEI (National Punjab Multi Educational Institute) is designed to be student-centric, transparent, and streamlined, catering specifically to the needs of long-distance learners. Below is the step-by-step roadmap to becoming a student at NPMEI:
Step 1: Counselling & Course Selection
Before applying, we encourage a personalized counseling session (online or telephonic).
Expert Guidance: Our academic counselors help you choose between General, Paramedical, or PG courses based on your previous qualifications and career goals.
Eligibility Check: We verify if you meet the criteria (e.g., 10th/12th for Diplomas, Graduation for PG programs).
Step 2: Application Submission
Once a course is selected, the formal application begins.
Online/Offline Form: Candidates can fill out the digital application on our official portal or visit a regional coordination center.
Document Upload: You will need to provide scanned copies of your Aadhaar card, educational certificates, and recent passport-sized photographs.
Step 3: Document Verification & MD Approval
As a multi-education institute with a strong medical focus, our verification process is rigorous to maintain academic integrity.
Academic Audit: Our back-end team verifies the authenticity of submitted documents.
Directorship Oversight: Paramedical and PG applications are reviewed under the standards set by Dr. Lakbir Singh to ensure candidates possess the foundational knowledge required for clinical training.
Step 4: Fee Payment & Financial Options

Transparent Structure: No hidden costs. Fees include study materials and examination charges.
Flexible Payment: We offer installment options and digital payment gateways (UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit cards) to support students from all financial backgrounds.
Step 5: Enrollment & LMS Access
Upon successful verification and payment, you are officially a student of NPME.
Student ID Generation: A unique Enrollment Number is issued.
LMS Activation: You receive login credentials for our Learning Management System (LMS), where you can immediately access your video lectures and e-books.
Welcome Kit: For distance learners, a physical “Student Welcome Kit” containing printed study materials is dispatched to your registered address.
